About the Event

We look forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary with you on Saturday, April 18 starting at 2 pm at RECS in Tualatin!

This is a fundraiser to help support Hunger Fighters as we plan for the future. We want to make sure pantry guests can continue to access our services for another 10 years and every dollar raised supports that basic mission.

Why pickleball? It's a fun, low-barrier, social opportunity, bringing people together to celebrate all the work that's been done in service to fighting food insecurity in our community. You don't have to play to attend and if you'd like to play, no experience is necessary! Whether you're an experienced pickleballer or new to the sport, all are welcome to this family friendly event.

Join us anytime between 2 and 6 pm for food, drinks, raffle prizes and more! Come when you can to mix and mingle with staff, board members, and volunteers, learn about what we've been up to and our plans for the remainder of the year, watch or play a match or two, and support this great fundraiser!

If you wish to play, you are more than welcome to bring your own gear, but RECS will have paddles, balls, and anything else you need to play! One of the 4 courts will be designated to beginners/those needing more instruction, so it's a great opportunity to learn! We will send reminders as the date nears! 

Ticketing Information


Tickets are $20 per person, whether you play or not, and all attendees will be entered into our raffle prize drawing! Ticketing  proceeds will go towards our $5,000 fundraising goal. 

Ticket options:
Supporter - this just means you're coming to support the event, but don't plan on playing (although, you can if you decide that you want to give it a try!)

Player - this is for those of you who DEFINITELY want to play! These tickets are limited, so make sure to snag one soon if you want time on the court! Let us know your skill level so we know what to expect!

Raffle tickets - every Supporter or Player ticket purchase will receive a free raffle ticket, but you can purchase additional raffle tickets to increase your odds. See more below!

Want to donate a little extra to help us reach our goal, you can add an additional donation when you purchase tickets!

Can't attend but want to support? Head to the ticketing page, select the "Can't Attend but want to Donate!" option, click through the form and select the "Yes, I would like to make a donation" option to make a donation to support this fundraiser! ​

​*Online ticket sales end on April 17, but tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
...and of course, food donations are encouraged!
