Malcolm K Mathes, has over 40 years of diversified commercial banking experience in both commercial and retail banking with history of building successful teams that are effective in creating collaborative participation focused on relationship banking. He has held senior level positions with Sterling Saving Bank, Key Bank and as President/CEO of First National Bank of McMinnville. He currently enjoys retirement.
Mr. Mathes is active in his community. He was awarded the 2010 Community Leader award from the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce. In 2014 he was received the Rotary Lake Oswego Community Service Award.
He is currently treasure and board member of The Arts Council of Lake Oswego, vice-chairman of the board for Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels and board member of Hunger Fighter Oregon and is an active member of the Lake Oswego Rotary Club.
He is a past president and board member of Lakewood Center for the Arts, past Chairman for the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, and past president of Lake Oswego Rotary. Previous board representations have been with FolkTime, March of Dimes, Boys and Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts of America and Dress for Success.
Mr. Mathes received a B.S. in Finance from University of Arizona. He is a graduate of The School for Bank Administration, Madison, Wisconsin.
