Mark Friess - Board Member Driven by a passion for education and global health, Mark Friess serves as the Executive Director of Kenya Keys, an international non-profit empowering youth in rural Kenya through education. Simultaneously, he contributes his expertise as a fractional COO to several visionary companies.

His dedication to global well-being is evident from his previous role on the Board of Health eVillages and his active participation in The Rotary Club. In the for-profit sector, Mark has held leadership positions including COO of The Dyrt, CEO of WELVU, SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development at Krames StayWell, and President of Krames Video Solutions. As co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of wired.MD—a pioneer in video patient engagement—he guided the company from its inception in 2000 to its acquisition by Krames in 2008.

An advocate for entrepreneurship, Mark co-founded StarveUps, an entrepreneurial peer mentoring organization thriving for over 25 years, where he served as a strategic advisor. His commitment to innovation is further reflected in his tenure as Executive in Residence at OHSU and advisory roles with OTRADI/OBI and Health 2.0 India. As an international speaker, he has shared insights on health and education across India, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Mark's dedication to making a global impact is matched by his commitment to family; he has been happily married for over thirty years and is the proud father of four.
